Last weekend, 28th and 29th September, it was BF week 2! I went for 2 svcs again. Pst How again gave his best in all the svcs he preached in. Furthermore, that very week, Pst How went on the trip to KK and preached for 4 sessions. Also heard that after touching down, he rushed to church immediately to have meetings and even prepared for AGM. Preaching for another 3 svcs during the weekends, a total of preaching 7 times for the entire week, but you don't see him complain, he just gives his best for all the svcs he preach in. I think my Pst is just so amazing. Pst How shared that when we are young, it is easy to sacrifice but hard to be generous. When we are older, it is easier to be generous but hard to sacrifice. I think it is quite true. After hearing what Pst How shared, I was determined to be even more generous especially to my family. I treated my mum to her favourite food after her work on Saturday and even shared with her what Pst How shared with us. Also, I really like this verse which Pst How shared.
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:21
I want my heart to be in the house of God. So impacted by the two testimonies shared by both Josephine and Sheena. Listening to what Sheena shared, I wanted to be more like her. She is so mature and independent. She gave to build His house when she had all the reason not too. She even designed her own piggy bank to save and fulfil her pledge. When Pst Lia led us into worship, I couldn't help but tear because I felt that He was assuring that everything will be going okay for me. Wanting to give for BF even though I may not have much left for myself, I just felt that He was assuring as I build His house, He will build mine. This will be my second BF. Even though the amount I pledged last year may not be a huge amount but after this weekend of BF, I was reassured by what Pst How shared, "Unequal giving but equal sacrifice. God looks at the heart, not the amount.". This year BF, I shall choose to have faith and trust in God, trust that I will be able to give to build His house. What's even better? It's building His house together. LR Zone had our very own Building Fund Fun on Sunday, where the zone just come together and eat together, play together, and just living our best lives together. The team was just so amazing. They prepared delicious food at affordable price, planned games to have fun together. We are all so excited to build His house together. #LRBFF2013

Lastly, I am going to put this little card in my wallet. W.I.S.D.O.M. To 1) Pray and plan, 2) Radical not reckless, 3) Sacrifice luxury not living, 4) Give by faith not by credit.
I am super excited to build His house!! (:
