I <3 NYC (S$18)
Wagu Beef, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Gherkin Aioli, Served with Fries

Hmm.. The wagu beef was a little undercooked, bread wan't that tasty, the amount of lettuce and other sauce wasn't really generous. The tartar sauce is not to my liking. As for the fries, it's something like seaweed shaker fries, those you can get from MacDonalds. It was dissapointing for me and I don't think I'll be back, at least not for now.

Cranberry juice (S$4)

Hahaha look at this cute wall!

Review: Old Habits Boutique & Cafe

This is definitely my all time favourite cafe! I don't usually go back to the same cafe after trying there once because there's so just many more cafe for me to discover. But this is one that I've visited more than once, and WILL be back for more, because I simply can't get tired of this amazing place! The standard of the food is never dropping all thanks to Don, the boss of this cafe, who does all this himself. I remember asking him why doesn't he hire staffs (because this is a family cafe), and he said that because he wanted the standard of the food to be of a certain level and that it must be maintained so that the customers, us will enjoy it. I'm never once disappointed by the food they served till this date.

Not to mention how wonderful their service is. I went there for dinner with my mum and the first thing was Don opening the door, greeting us with a genuinely smile and then he welcomed us back. He actually takes the effort to remember his customers! My mum also was very happy to be back to this *many thumbs up* cafe. (It was her second visit)

Just like what the name of the cafe suggests, you can find many old habits you have when you were younger. I really like, in fact I would say love the idea concept behind this beautiful cafe. I even met my neighbour, those that I knew before I moved house. It was a really nice feeling i would say.

This cafe has already been standing strong for, 7 months? Yeap, around there!

Cajun Chicken Marylan (S$14.50)

The chicken was so good! It's really tender and juicy. With the salad at the side, you can have a healthy yet satisfying dinner. The dressing complements it well. The mash potato with their home-made sauce was great as well. Obviously it wasn't like those in KFC (which I liked too), but theirs is even sweeter with some ingredients they added.

Coconut Kueh & Ice Cream (S$6.50)

Not a fan of coconut but this coconut kueh is really worth the try! A little crisp on the outside but really soft on the inside. The vallina ice cream just goes so well with it! This is the most popular dessert from them I would say ;)

You should order this when you get there before ordering the rest because it usually takes around 20min for them to prepare this dessert.

Signing off with one of their latest deco addition ;)

Look at the different kind of flavours you can choose from!

You can even scoop it yourself, hehe.

HELLO PANDA, POCKY, PRETZ, PEPERO is really common.

But not these! Look at the different kinds of childhood snacks that you can find in this lovely cafe!!

Not forgetting those games we played. Snakes and ladder, marble, five stones, those card games such as old maid, donkey and snap. It's so much better than going to the arcade!

I'm definitely going to visit this cafe many more times with my friends from primary, secondary school and poly mates. I mean what better place to just chill over some ice cream and reminiscing the good old times.
