The two dates that I look forward to every year

Hey hey! As you can see from post title, the two times I look forward to every year had come! This is a super late post but whatever cause there will still be people reading this, hahaha.

The 1st date that I look forward to every year: 18 December
I look forward to this date because hehe, it is my birthday. Since young, my family was the only one who celebrated my birthday for me, I would have a party and I would invite my friends over but that's it. It's only recently I realized I felt empty on the inside despite having birthday celebration every year. This went on until 2011. That was the year I first stepped into hoGc. On my birthday that year, I went to church and I can still remember Muying wishing me on twitter when my cg mates told me to look at the screen. I saw the twitter page on the screen and saw Muying's wish to me. I was very happy and touched that she even made the effort to remember my birthday. After svc that day, the cg celebrated my birthday and I was super shocked. I was only in church for one month during that time yet the cg still loved me. Even though I saw how other cg always celebrated one another's birthday but I still didn't think that my cg would do the same just because I'm new in church. However, they proved me wrong. That was the first time my friends initiated to celebrate my birthday. In 2012, my cg did the same again, they gave me a surprised birthday celebration in church though it was not my birthday yet. This year, the same thing happened. I was in the nursery room waiting for a poly prayer meeting to start, so I was taking my height with my friends and someone suddenly brought a cake in and the poly people started singing me the birthday song. I was very surprised again because I was really clueless about the surprise. It was again an advanced celebration yet they still really took time out to love me.

I again had a birthday celebration at my house this year. I invited a few of my closer friends over to have fun. I had so much fun that day. It was one of the birthday so far. Thank you everyone who came for my birthday celebration. I should stop here and let the pictures do the talking of how happy I was to have my family and friends to celebrate my birthday for me.

The 2nd date that I look forward to every year: 25 December

I look forward to this date because it is Christmas! This year, hoGc have 10 Christmas svcs! So exciting! What's even better is that my friends are here with me. So thankful to have all of them with me for Christmas svc.

I also celebrated Christmas by going for a one day trip to Malaysia with my mummy and Cynthia. The food there is super nice and cheap. All the things there are so much cheaper compared to Singapore. Well, maybe I did not see the expensives one. Even the arcade is so much cheaper than those we have here.

Term break // Sisters time

Hi guys! Firstly, thank you for reading my blog.

So moving on, the first thing that I want to blog about is that yay, the long awaited term break is finally here!!! Last Friday was the last day of term 3. I was late as usual. But that's not the main point. We learnt how to see spaces in a different way. We did this by using the wood we hammered together (that's one of our assignments). I had so much fun during that studio lesson even though we ended almost an hour later. I'm really so blessed to be in this course, learning what I love. Thank you Sean for always explaining again and again to me because I'm so blur all the time, opps. Sometimes I can see that you explain until you don't want to explain but you still explained everything to me patiently. Thank you Larry for always teaching me and guiding me when I have any questions. Even though sometimes I will be irritated, but you still joke around and I feel better.

After studio lesson, we had a break and then headed for Alan's class. He is one of the best lecturers too. Since he is not that old, he will always joke around with us which makes us feels comfortable with him. Thank you Alan for being the 'father' to us, hehe. I bet all SID kids love you.

Even though we did not have Wayne's class that day, but I would still like to say.. Thank you Wayne for being so nice to me. Even though you always laugh at me, and that I thought you were a super fierce person in the beginning. But my impression of you have now changed. I think that you are a very nice lecturer just acting to be fierce in the beginning so we will all do our work and have the basics right. Now, at sem 2, you started to joke around more. Also, whenever I asked you if you have extra materials, you will definitely give me if you have.

After thanking the lecturers, I have some friends I am very blessed to have met too. One of them is Jingle. Even though we may be from different class, she is always one who I treasure a lot. We do not talk as often, but when we talk, she never fail to encourage me. She is one who everyone will love to hangout with. Thank you Jingle.

Another friend is Diana. We are from different class too. Yet, she is someone who I can tell everything too. She hear me rants and will just be super nice to me. Even when she is attached now, she did not forget about me. She will ask me to sit together when we have combined classes. This may be something small but these are the small things that I feel very loved by. She is the only one who can criticize my work and I would feel okay about it. I know whatever she say is not out of sarcasm, but she just wants me to do better. She don't just criticize but will be there to help me when I needed any help. Thank you Diana for everything, I'm so blessed to have met you.

Cherie is another friend who I want to thank. Thank you Cherie for being there for me whenever I needed a listening ear too. I remembered I was afraid to talk to you at the beginning of sem 2 because I thought you were angry. Then it turned out I was being over sensitive as usual and I'm so glad we are staying back in school, having lunch together and just doing everything together just like last sem.

Last person to thank. Thank you Angelia for helping me with any work I needed help with. Even though we are from the same class, but we only started getting close this sem. Nice to have you sitting with me in class.

Moving on to the next thing that I want to blog about is that I spent some sisters time with my elder sister, Cynthia. We went Bugis together with some other friends after church yesterday. I wanted to shop for shoes so she went with me. It did not start of good cause I'm jealous as always if she spent more time talking to her friends than me. Despite so, she still patiently went with me to shop for my shoes, and I got a pair of toms at Bugis Street. When we were waiting for someone after that, she said she wanted to bring me somewhere that will make me happy. The place is a toilet in the hotel. Omg, I was trying to not laugh but was feeling happy on the inside and I have no idea why. We went to Superman and I got a pair of super chio kicks and I felt so happy after getting that. Two new kicks in a day, happy girl here. I just want to thank God for everything you have done for me. Without You, there will definitely not be any sisters time between me and Cynthia. God is really and indeed a good God. You are the one who restores relationship and I just want to thank You for that. Loving my life. Some pictures time again now, hehe.
